To provide personalized, quality chiropractic care in
a friendly, relaxing environment. Wellness is a state of physical,
spiritual, mental and emotional balance. Disease and chronic
conditions occur when the body is not in its natural state of
balance. Our goal is to get you out of pain, restore your body to
health and partner together to help bring you to a state of
wellness.
Dr. Ley invites you to call and make an
appointment for a complimentary consultation. At this visit you can
gather information about chiropractic care and our services and we
can determine if your condition is something we can help you with.

What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a natural approach to health that is based on the
relationship between the nervous system and the function of all the
body’s glands, organs and systems. It recognizes the fact that the
human body is a self-healing, self-regulating organism that is
inherently designed to be healthy.
The
nervous system is the body’s master control system and it holds the key
to the body’s ability to heal and express itself. Chiropractors
understand that the body is continually striving to achieve a state of
balance with its environment. Stressors to the body affect its ability
to function optimally, causing weaknesses and imbalances. By finding and
correcting these imbalances through chiropractic , the body can be
restored to health. This involves stabilizing, then strengthening your
body as we partner together to modify your lifestyle habits. Read our
Frequently Asked Questions section for more information.

7 Ways to
Prevent Back Pain
▫ Lift
heavy weights close to your body…do not use long levers to lift (arms
outstretched with weight at end) and do not lift and twist
▫ Bend your knees when you lift…this allows your low back muscles
to be engaged and able to support what you lift
▫ Stretch before getting out of bed…..bring one knee to chest at
a time, then both together and make small circles in each direction.
When you get up, take a few minutes to swing arms around to left and to
right, creating a twisting motion. Let your arms and shoulders be loose
and relaxed. This should be pain-free
▫ Strengthen your low back muscles by lying face down on floor or
mat, and raise both arms out in front of you in “V” format. Hold for 3
seconds, lower and repeat 10 times. Do not do this if you already have
back pain
▫ Check your posture by getting up from your work station every
hour and stretching, arms overhead; reach side to side
▫ Avoid placing heating pad on back when having discomfort or
pain…when in doubt, use ICE
▫ Work on keeping your hamstring muscles (back of the thigh)
stretched out
The doctor of the future
will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the
human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease."
